Impact
  • Intended outcomes: Lucero helps tweens and teens learn emotional regulation and coping skills, identify feelings, and strengthen in-person connections. Whether it’s a meltdown, a shutdown, or you just feel off, Lucero is here to help you through the tough stuff—and make space for better days. Learn more from Lucero's white paper here.
  • Demonstrated outcomes: Lucero supports student well-being by reducing negative emotions after using the Spark Self-Care Wheel. It encourages healthy habits, with a 31% increase in mood-boosting activities, and fosters empathy, showing a 14% rise in caring about others' feelings. Parents note better communication at home. Among “super users,” 100% find Lucero helpful—especially for feeling better, calming their bodies, and naming emotions.

Privacy & Safety
  • Privacy & security: Lucero takes privacy and security very seriously. Lucero is COPPA compliant, with parent approval required during onboarding for users under 13. For full details, please see Lucero's Privacy Policy and Terms or contact support@lucerospeaks.com with any specific privacy or security questions.
  • Crisis protocols: Lucero is intentionally designed not to capture free-written text. No personal data is collected, and crisis hotlines are listed in the app’s “SOS” section. The platform strengthens communication and relationships, making students more likely to seek support offline. Protocols are universal and can complement school-specific systems.
