Impact
  • Intended outcomes: KindEd’s intended outcomes are stronger student agency, self-awareness, and critical thinking about social media, AI, and technology use. Students learn how algorithms and digital habits shape attention, emotions, relationships, and decisions, then apply healthier routines and more responsible choices. Schools and families also gain shared language to strengthen communication and reduce online conflict.
  • Demonstrated outcomes: KindEd has reached more than 14,000 students across 40+ schools. Pre- and post-program data showed students’ understanding of algorithmic influence rising from 29% to 83%, while the ability to explain why content appears increased from 58% to 94%. In addition, 60% reported greater control over their habits and 23% reduced screen time.
Privacy & Safety
  • Privacy & security: KindEd follows COPPA- and FERPA-aligned data practices and uses security controls informed by SOC 2 and HIPAA principles.
  • Crisis protocols: KindEd is a preventive education tool, not a crisis response or detection system. It helps students build awareness, agency, and healthier technology habits before concerns escalate.
